ICA event: Cooperatives -Together to end violence against women and girls

Join the ICA Gender Equality Committee on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls.

For another year, the International Cooperative Alliance Gender Equality Committee (ICA GEC) joins the United Nations’ campaign “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence against women and girls”. Under the theme “UNITE! Activism to end violence against women and girls”, UN calls for global action to increase awareness, galvanise advocacy efforts and share knowledge and innovations to end violence against women and girls once and for all.

The ICA GEC will hold a webinar to contribute to the global debate and to raise awareness within cooperatives and beyond about gender-based violence and what can be done. Furthermore, it aims to show the added value of cooperatives in this battle and intends to increase the recognition of cooperatives as valuable actors.

The event will be held in English and Spanish and have interpretation in these languages.

Pellervon Aamu: Talouden näkymät

PTT:n toimitusjohtaja, ekonomisti Markus Lahtinen keskustelemassa Pellervon toimitusjohtaja Mari Kokon kanssa talouden tilasta ja tulevaisuusskenaarioista. Ajankohtaiswebinaariin voi osallistua myös lähettämällä oman kysymyksen joko etukäteen tai tilaisuuden aikana.

Tapahtumapaikkana on Helsingin ydinkeskustassa sijaitseva Kulttuurikasarmi. Aiemmin mm. linja-autoasemana toiminut rakennus sijaitsee Simonkadun naapurissa, Kampin kauppakeskusta vastapäätä. Pellervon Päivä huipentaa YK:n kansainvälisen osuustoimintavuoden. Se on tilaisuus, joka kokoaa laajasti yhteen niin suurten kuin pientenkin osuustoiminnallisten yritysten johtoa, hallinnossa toimivia ja sidosryhmien edustajia. Tarjolla on jälleen tutkittua tietoa, puheenaiheita ja sekä otollinen ympäristö tutustua uusiin ihmisiin.
